Nothing can compare with the beauty of the spring bloom.  The ground is still covered with the softness of the spring grasses, then add the white cottony tree canopy against the sky,  its like being in a different world.  Bees are so plentyful that the orchard hums with their presence.  The sweet smell of cherry blossoms is present as you walk down the different rows.  By the time you arrive to pick cherries, nature (along with some hard working family members) has providedyou with sweet and beautiful cherries to pick.

Here, Stella Cherries are the most popular.  This cherry tree grows heavy with clusters of heart shaped, deep purple sweet cherries.  This variety of cherry is self pollinating and very easily maintained.  The cherry is medium to large in size and very juicy.  It has much the same taste qualities of the Bing Cherry with added juciness. Stellas are great for eating as well as using them for jams, jellies, and even pies.  For most pickers, if you weren't told that this cherry was a Stella, you would think you were eating a Bing.

In recent times, Raineer Cherries have become very popular.  This cherry is a very large yellow cherry with a blush of red.  Their flavor is very different from any red sweet cherry.  The flavor of a Raineer can be compared to the sweetness of a ripe peach.  Raineers posess all the sweetness of a lush fruit with only a hint of the tartness found in red cherries.  As you can see, our trees produce plentiful fruits.

Bing Cherries are very well known.  They are so popular with the public that they are a must for any orchard.  Everyone that goes to the market for sweet red cherries knows the sweet tartness that is so prevelant with the Bing Cherry.  It is a large, fleshy, and round firm cherry.  Any orchard would be lost without them.  Here a the Cherry Pit Ranch, we provide plenty of Bing Cherries for your picking.
